While studying architecture, I become completely enamored with the spirit of Luis Barragán's architecture. His sense of spirituality and space are fully intertwined, and he pays rightful homage to his native Mexico by using native materials and lush colors in his work, always intentionally.

For Typography 2, I was assigned to create a book that combined text and photographs, with multiple images on pages and caption components. I wanted to honor my family's love for Barragán's work as well as my own, and sought to reference his sense of color and compression and expansion of space in between text and image.
